DESCRIPTION OF FINDINGS

  • Case A: Well-defined accessory sutures noted in the posterior skull are contiguous with, but not crossing, the left lambdoid and coronal sutures and are adjacent to the superior nuchal ridge. No acute fracture is identified.

  • Case B: Sharply demarcated linear lucency is observed within the right occipital bone. Sclerosis is absent, which is consistent with an acute injury.

  • Case C: An ill-defined comminuted fracture of the anterior right parietal bone that extends to the adjacent right coronal and sagittal sutures.

  • Case D: Accessory bones between metopic, sagittal, and coronal sutures. The margins are sclerotic, and no evidence of suture diastasis is found.
