General information

Progabide acts, together with its metabolites, as an agonist at both GABA A and GABA B receptors. It has been used in the treatment of spasticity [ , ], epilepsy and movement disorders [ , ], and benign essential tremor [ ].

A high proportion of patients suffer from transient minor adverse reactions, such as drowsiness, nausea, weakness, or dizziness.
