Imaging Planes

The imaging planes are the long-axis (images acquired in the parasternal long-axis [PLAX] views), short-axis (images acquired in the parasternal short-axis [PSAX] views), and apical (images acquired in the apical views) planes ( Fig. 7.1 ).
