  • Malignant smooth muscle tumor of the bladder wall

Clinical features


  • Rare, but represents the most common malignant mesenchymal tumor of the bladder in adults

  • Male predominance

  • Most common in middle-aged to older patients

  • Associated with acrolein, a degradation product of cyclophosphamide
