  • Does the patient have any neurological deficits?

  • What kind of pain does the patient have?

  • What is the baseline function and ambulatory status of the patient?

  • Has the trauma team evaluated the patient?

  • Is there concern for concomitant cervical or lumbar injuries? Is the patient in a cervical collar?
