Urothelial carcinoma with unusual stromal reactions


Definition

  • Four types. In the primary or metastatic sites, urothelial carcinoma with stroma that:

    • Has pseudosarcomatous response;

    • Shows osseous or cartilaginous metaplasia;

    • Contains osteoclast-type giant cells; or

    • Has prominent lymphoid infiltrate
