Perioperative Risks

  • Increased risk of infection

  • Aspiration (subsequent to N/V)

  • Prolonged succinylcholine action (CTX, thiotepa)

  • Fluid retention (HN 2 )

  • Prolonged bleeding (thrombocytopenia)
