Definition

  • Malignant tumor of skeletal muscle (rhabdoid) differentiation, arising from the spermatic cord or paratesticular region

Clinical features

Epidemiology

  • Most common sarcoma of the spermatic cord or paratesticular region in children

  • Mean age, 9 years (range, 5–40 years)

  • Paratesticular tumors accounts for 4% of all rhabdomyosarcomas
