D efinition —A clinical and pathologic response to continued physical trauma comprised of markedly thickened skin with verruciform changes along with erythema and plaquelike scaling.

Epidemiology

  • Seen in all demographic groups; however, has been associated with vulvar cancer and verrucous carcinoma.
